Minimum Age for Employment

POLICY STATEMENT


Persons who have reached their eighteenth birthday may be employed as regular or temporary employees on a full or part-time basis in a position for which they meet the minimum qualifications and other employment requirements of the University.

DEFINITIONS


Employee
: a person currently employed by the University on a full-time, part-time, temporary or hourly basis.

PROCEDURES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Review:

The Office of Human Resources is responsible for review of this policy every three years or whenever circumstances require immediate review.
