Non-Academic Disciplinary Transcript Notation
POLICY STATEMENT |
Non-academic disciplinary expulsions will be noted on student academic transcripts.
DEFINITIONS |
Expulsion: Permanent disenrollment of student who is not eligible for readmission to the University.
PROCEDURES and RESPONSIBILITIES |
The disciplinary process for students has been delegated by the President to the Vice President of Student Affairs. All non-academic expulsions are determined by the established University Judicial system under the guidance of the VP of Student Affairs. All disciplinary records are maintained by the VP of Student Affairs office.
The VP of Student Affairs will send official notice to the Registrar’s Office to have non-academic expulsions noted on a transcript. The notice must include student name, DSU ID#, and effective date of expulsion.
Expulsions – Students who are expelled from the University will have ‘W’ recorded as final grade for each class registered in at the time of expulsion. “Non-Academic Disciplinary Expulsion” with effective date will be noted as a transcript comment. The comment will remain on the student transcript permanently.
