CLEVELAND, Miss. \u2014 <\/strong>Delta State University and Mississippi Blood Services are proud to announce the\u00a0Bleed Green at Delta State Blood Drive<\/em>\u00a0on March 17, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in front of the O. W. Reily\u00a0Health Center on Delta State’s campus. This event, held on St. Patrick’s Day, provides an opportunity for students, staff, and community members to donate blood and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. The event is in partnership with the Department of Health and Counseling Services.<\/p>\n

In addition to helping save lives, all student donors will have a chance to win a $250 scholarship, which will be awarded to one randomly selected student donor. As a token of appreciation for their generosity, all donors will receive a $15 Visa gift card.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery donation helps us meet the critical needs of patients in hospitals across Mississippi,\u201d said Kasey Dickson, Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Mississippi Blood Services. \u201cWe are grateful for the support from Delta State University and their commitment to ensuring that life-saving blood is available when it\u2019s needed most. The scholarships and incentives are a great way to encourage students to get involved and give back to the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Bleed Green at Delta State Blood Drive<\/em>\u00a0will be set up in front of the O. W. Reily\u00a0Health Center, located on the campus of Delta State University. The event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community.<\/p>\n
