CLEVELAND, Miss. \u2014<\/strong> Delta State University is proud to announce the upcoming Senior Capstone performance of percussionist James Cavallo, a Bachelor of Arts candidate in Music. The performance is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 18, at 1:40 p.m. in the Bologna Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.<\/p>\n

Hailing from Desoto County and a graduate of Lake Cormorant High School, Cavallo has been an integral part of Delta State’s vibrant musical community. As a dedicated member of the Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), Cavallo has demonstrated exceptional talent and commitment throughout his academic journey.<\/p>\n

Under the guidance of his mentor, Associate Professor of Music Dr. Josh Armstrong, James Cavallo has honed his percussion skills and developed a repertoire that showcases his versatility and musical prowess. For his Senior Capstone performance, Cavallo will present a captivating selection of pieces by renowned composers Ivan Trevino, Evelyn Glennie, Gene Koshinski, and John Beck.<\/p>\n

This event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats for what promises to be an unforgettable musical experience.<\/p>\n
