Members of the original <strong><em>Million Dollar Quartet <\/em><\/strong>team, Tony-nominated book writer <strong>Colin Escott<\/strong> and original orchestrator <strong>Chuck Mead<\/strong>, reunite with director <strong>Scott Weinstein<\/strong> for this new musical holiday celebration. Inspired by the true story of their December 1956 homecoming at Sun Records, this heartwarming rock n\u2019 roll musical rings with sounds of the season and the chart toppers that made the <em>Million Dollar Quartet<\/em> famous. The gang is up to their usual antics as we journey through stories of Christmas past, present, and future in a joyful evening filled with nostalgic holiday hits including \u201cRun Rudolph Run,\u201d \u201cJingle Bell Rock,\u201d \u201cI\u2019ll Be Home For Christmas,\u201d and more.<\/p>\n<p>The cast of <strong><em>Million Dollar Quartet Christmas <\/em><\/strong>will include <strong>Alex Swindle<\/strong> as Elvis, <strong>Bill Scott Sheets<\/strong> as Johnny Cash, <strong>Brandon Fillette<\/strong> as Jerry Lee Lewis, <strong>Kurt Jenkins<\/strong> as Carl Perkins, <strong>Kathleen Macari<\/strong> as Dyanne, <strong>Matthew Mucha<\/strong> as Sam Phillips, <strong>Nathan Yates<\/strong> <strong>Douglass<\/strong> as Brother Jay, and <strong>Sean Preece <\/strong>as Fluke, along with understudies <strong>Dan Middleditch<\/strong>, <strong>Hunter Semrau<\/strong>, and<strong> Brynn Smith-Jenkins<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The design team for <strong><em>Million Dollar Quartet Christmas<\/em><\/strong> includes scenic design by <strong>dots<\/strong>, lighting design by <strong>Ryan J. O\u2019Gara<\/strong>, sound design by <strong>Diego Garz\u00f3n<\/strong>, costume design by <strong>Izumi Inaba<\/strong>, and prop design by <strong>Douglas Clarke<\/strong>. The production is general managed by <strong>Evan Bernardin Productions<\/strong> and booked by <strong>Broadway &amp; Beyond Theatricals \/ BBT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Million Dollar Quartet Christmas<\/em><\/strong> received its world premiere in 2021 at <strong>The<\/strong> <strong>Phoenix Theatre Company<\/strong>, ahead of a National Tour that same year.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong><em>Million Dollar Quartet Christmas<\/em><\/strong> cast album will be released digitally on <u>Friday, October 28, 2022<\/u> and in stores starting <u>Friday, November 11, 2022<\/u> distributed throughout North America by <strong>BFD\/The Orchard. <\/strong>The 15-track cast recording, which is now <a href=\"https:\/\/orcd.co\/MDQXCastRecording\">available for preorder<\/a>, includes all of the nostalgic chart-topping holiday hits from the musical as well as an additional 4 non-holiday bonus tracks.
