Doyle is serving as an adjunct instructor, teaching the \u00a0\u201cCraft of Songwriting\u201d course for the Fall 2022 semester.<\/p>\n

\u201cI consider it to be an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to share my thirty-plus years of experience in the music industry as a songwriter and publisher with the Delta State University students,\u201d said Doyle. \u201cI look forward to meeting and guiding my students toward achieving their desired entertainment industry goals.”<\/p>\n

DMI Director Richard Tremmel said, \u201cWe are very fortunate to be able to attract someone with Joe\u2019s background to teach our students.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his thirty-plus years writing songs in Nashville for BMG, Acuff-Rose, Murrah Music and Warner Chappell, Doyle\u2019s songs have been included on numerous multi-platinum, platinum and gold albums, exceeding more than 17 million in sales\u2014including the country single \u201cIn Pictures\u201d recorded by Alabama on RCA Records, the Top 10 single \u201cShe Said Yes\u201d recorded by Rhett Akins on Decca Records and Billboard\u2019s Country Charting Single \u201cBlossom in the Dust\u201d recorded by Mallary Hope on Universal Records.<\/p>\n

Other notable artists who have recorded Joe\u2019s songs include Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Dan Seals, Joe Diffie, Daryle Singletary, Linda Davis, Deryl Dodd, Robert Ellis Orrall, Michael Ray,\u00a0Tracy Byrd, Martina McBride, Trick Pony and Blaine Larsen, among numerous others.<\/p>\n
