Why did you choose your major?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I chose social work because of its commitment to helping individuals and their environment. I love that I have the opportunity to make a difference in someone\u2019s life. I also love the diversity that social work has to offer. Social work is a growing profession where I am guaranteed a job in many different settings.<\/p>\n

What groups are you involved in on campus?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am involved in several groups on campus. I am a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society where I serve as the president of the Eta Xi Chapter. I am also a member of the Social Work Club and the NACSW. I am also part of the National Society of Leadership and Success.<\/p>\n

What are your long-term career aspirations?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My long-term career aspiration is to assist as many individuals as possible. After getting my bachelor\u2019s degree, I plan to attend graduate school. I hope to become a traveling social worker helping people all around the world.<\/p>\n

Why did you choose Delta State?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I chose Delta State because Delta State felt like home. When I visited the campus for orientation, everyone was so nice and helpful. Even after orientation, my advisors and professors made sure I was well prepared for my journey here at Delta State.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s an interesting fact most people don\u2019t know about you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

One interesting fact about me that most people don\u2019t know is that my favorite thing to do is watch YouTube. I love to watch other\u2019s daily blogs, GRWM videos, makeup, and hair tutorials, etc.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your go-to road trip snack?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My favorite road trip snack is the Takis Fuego Popcorn. I also like Sweet Tart Ropes with a cold lemon lime Gatorade.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s at the top of your travel bucket list and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the top of my bucket list is Bali, Indonesia. I want to visit Bali because it is a beautiful place. I want to visit the beach with the pink sand and the famous Bali swing.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favorite restaurant in Cleveland?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My favorite restaurant in Cleveland is J&W Smokehouse. It is definitely the best barbecue in the Delta.<\/p>\n

Who are 1 or 2 people who have made a big impact in your life?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The two people that have influenced me the most are my mother and grandmother. They both taught me a strong work ethic. I work hard, aim high, and value my relationships because of them.
