Cleveland, Miss.\u2014<\/b>Judges are needed for the 2022 Region III Mississippi Science and Engineering Fairs, hosted by Delta State University\u2019s Department of Continuing Education.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Upper Fair for grades 7-12 will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23.\u00a0 <\/strong>Judges for grades 7 and 8 must have a bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent.\u00a0 Those judging grades 9-12 grade must hold a master\u2019s degree, Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent with related professional experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Lower Fair participants for grades 1-6 will compete on Wednesday, March 23<\/strong>.<\/b> \u00a0Judges must be a college junior, college senior, college graduate or degree holder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Judges will be required to arrive by 9 a.m. and all judging will be completed by noon.\u00a0 Snacks and beverages will be provided for judges.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Region III covers the following counties: Bolivar, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Leflore, Sharkey, Sunflower, Washington and Yazoo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In response to Delta State COVID-19 protocols, all participants and judges will be required to wear a face mask while on DSU\u2019s campus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
