Smith School of Nursing, and Loretta Jackson, associate professor in the Department of Social Work, received 2019-20 Connected Educator Awards.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Each year the Office of Information Technology sponsors the Connected Educator event in which students are asked to nominate faculty who have had a positive impact on their learning experience through the use of technology. This year, students submitted more than 130 nominations about 72 faculty members.<\/p>\n<p>The Connected Educator Award Luncheon occurred on Oct. 30, 2019; all nominated faculty were recognized and the winners were announced.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Emily Newman, an instructor in the Robert E.
