{"id":84791,"date":"2019-10-01T16:30:04","date_gmt":"2019-10-01T21:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/?p=84791"},"modified":"2019-10-07T10:03:58","modified_gmt":"2019-10-07T15:03:58","slug":"successes-for-dsu-at-annual-meeting-of-mississippi-chapter-of-the-wildlife-society","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/2019\/10\/successes-for-dsu-at-annual-meeting-of-mississippi-chapter-of-the-wildlife-society\/","title":{"rendered":"Successes for DSU at Annual Meeting of Mississippi Chapter of The Wildlife Society"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Faculty and students represented Delta State University well at the annual meeting of the Mississippi Chapter of The Wildlife Society in Vicksburg, Miss., on Sept. 19-20. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dr. AHM Ali Reza, associate professor of biology, and fellow coauthors of a paper entitled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/2019\/02\/i-am-scholar-hear-me-roar-ahm-ali-reza-associate-professor-of-biology-at-delta-state-university-coauthors-peer-reviewed-paper-on-potential-extinction-of-bengal-tigers-in-bangladesh\/\">\u201cCombined Effects of Climate Change and Sea-Level Rise Project Dramatic Habitat Loss of the Globally Endangered Bengal Tiger in the Bangladesh Sundarbans\u201d<\/a> won the Outstanding Peer-Reviewed Publication award.
