Region III MSEF covers the following nine counties: Bolivar, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Leflore, Sharkey, Sunflower, Washington, and Yazoo. The regional science fair hosts the winners from schools within the listed counties. Awards are presented in each of the 13 STEM categories, including a best of class and an overall best of fair. Upper Fair winners, 7th \u2013 12th grades, will advance to the Mississippi Science and Engineering State Fair in April 2019 at Northeast Mississippi Community College, Booneville, MS. The regional best of fair winner from 9th \u2013 12th grades will advance to the International Science and Engineering Fair held May 2019 in Phoenix, AZ.
