{"id":63899,"date":"2015-06-11T09:11:05","date_gmt":"2015-06-11T14:11:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/?p=63899"},"modified":"2015-06-11T09:11:14","modified_gmt":"2015-06-11T14:11:14","slug":"coehs-receives-continuing-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/2015\/06\/coehs-receives-continuing-accreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"COEHS receives continuing accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Delta State University College of Education and Human Sciences received continuing accreditation through 2021 during the May 2015 meeting of the Continuous Improvement Commission of the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).<\/p>\n<p>At the meeting, both initial and advanced programs met all standards set forth by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Founded in 1954, NCATE is recognized by the U. S.
