The DMI Mobile Lab, a customized music production bus that brings mobile music audio\/video technology to young people in the Mississippi Delta, was recently awarded a $5,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi for continued program operations.<\/p>\n

Tom Pittman, president and CEO of CFNM, visited campus today to present the check to the DMI Entertainment Industry program which houses the DMI Mobile Lab.<\/p>\n

The goal of the MML is to nurture and encourage creativity, complement curriculum and empower students with a knowledge and appreciation of the rich musical heritage of Mississippi. Visit http:\/\/dmimobilelab.org to learn more about the lab\u2019s specialized programming.<\/p>\n

The CFNM connects people who care with causes that matter. It assists donors as well as nonprofit organizations and charitable causes that make a difference in people\u2019s lives. While donors designate their charitable contributions, the foundation has set its priorities as education, health and children in order to make the greatest impact on its community.<\/p>\n

The DMI is an independent center of study under the College of Arts and Sciences at Delta State University, offering a bachelor\u2019s degree in Entertainment Industry Studies.
