The event will serve as an annual regional gospel music festival and competition held on the stage of the Bologna Performing Arts Center. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The inaugural Delta Got Gospel is scheduled for\u00a0April 19, 2015. Jasmine Murray, the reigning Miss Mississippi, will perform and serve as host.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Contestants can register for the competition online at\u00a0<a href=\"deltagotgospel.com\">deltagotgospel.com<\/a>.\u00a0Submissions require a\u00a090-second video posted on\u00a0YouTube, and the link must be sent via\u00a0email to\u00a0<span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"mailto:deltagotgospel@gmail.com\">deltagotgospel@gmail.com<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>The registration period closes Feb. 28 at 11:59 p.m. CST.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize, a fully produced CD from the DMI and 100 copies of the finished product.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For more information, visit <a href=\"deltagotgospel.com\">deltagotgospel.com<\/a>,\u00a0or visit the\u00a0Delta Got Gospel Facebook page.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Delta Music Institute is an independent center of study under the College of Arts and\u00a0Sciences at Delta State University, offering a bachelor&#8217;s\u00a0degree in Entertainment Industry Studies.
