The event serves as a tasting of game animals such as deer, duck, turkey and rabbit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll have regular food as well for those who don\u2019t like it,\u201d said Dr. A.H.M. Ali Reza, assistant professor of biology.<\/p>\n<p>Reza said students hunt, collect the meat and then bring it to the event for tasting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is to encourage students. We kind of encourage hunting because it\u2019s a part of the culture,\u201d said Reza.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the tasting, there will be a presentation titled \u201cCurrent Issues in Mississippi Conservation\u201d by Brad Young, executive director of the Mississippi Wildlife Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free and open to the public, but donations are welcome to support the Wildlife Society.
