The Delta State University National Alumni Association recently announced a giveaway for alumni and friends who purchase Pig Pickin\u2019 BBQ tickets. Patrons who purchase tickets by Sept. 24 will be entered in a drawing for a 35-quart Yeti cooler \u2014 donated by the Alumni Association \u2014 and a free night\u2019s stay at the Alluvian in Greenwood.<\/p>\n
Tickets are $6 and can be pre-purchased at the Hugh Ellis Walker Alumni-Foundation House or online at www.deltastategiving.org\/alumniassociation\/pigpickin<\/a>.<\/p>\n The winners of the cooler and the free night\u2019s stay will be announced Sept. 25 at noon via the Alumni Association\u2019s Facebook (Statesmen Graduates), Twitter (@DSU_Alumni) and Instragram (@dsualumni) accounts.<\/p>\n Pig Pickin\u2019 fans should also be on the lookout for official Pig Pickin\u2019 T-shirts. This year\u2019s shirt will sport a new design and be on sale for $15.
