Read serves as the institution&#8217;s coordinator of Continuing Education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Read was born and raised in Greenville, and she and her husband, John, reside in Leland with their one daughter, Elizabeth. She\u00a0came to Delta State in 2002 as a research associate in Institutional Research and joined Graduate and Continuing Studies in October 2003. She was promoted to her current position in 2007. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Read is an active member of First Baptist Church in Leland. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.\u00a0Read is also chair elect for Administrative Staff Council. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Employee of the Month distinction is given to a staff member who has provided service at Delta State that is considered over and beyond those duties outlined in his or her job description.
