{"id":58963,"date":"2014-02-24T14:41:43","date_gmt":"2014-02-24T20:41:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/?p=58963"},"modified":"2014-02-24T14:41:43","modified_gmt":"2014-02-24T20:41:43","slug":"faculty-to-perform-recital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/2014\/02\/faculty-to-perform-recital\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty to perform recital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Delta State University Department of Music will present Anne-Ga\u00eblle Ravetto on violin and Dr. Jung-Won Shin on piano in a faculty recital on March 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of\u00a0the Bologna Performing Arts Center.<\/p>\n<p>The concert, entitled &#8220;Violin Works,&#8221; is \u00a0inspired by &#8220;The City of Lights&#8221; and will feature works by Mozart, Prokofiev, Saint-Sa\u00ebns and Sarasate.<\/p>\n<p>Ravetto\u00a0is an adjunct faculty member and serves as a collaborative artist and also maintains a private teaching\u00a0studio. Shin is an associate professor and performs piano solo and duo works, instrumental chamber works, collaborative vocal works and choral music. She has performed internationally in Korea and Canada.<\/p>\n<p>The recital is free and open to the public.
