SAA President Amy Scott encouraged members to donate a toy and support the initiative.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>\u201cI am so excited that we\u2019ve had great participation again this year,\u201d said Scott. \u201cIt\u2019s a good way for students to be able to give back to our community.\u201d<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>The toys are being donated to the Cleveland Police Department\u2019s \u201cShop with a Cop\u201d program. Now in its 18th year, the program identifies needy and deserving children in Cleveland who get the chance to pick out a toy for Christmas.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>\u201cI\u2019m so proud of our SAA members because this was an initiative that they took entirely upon themselves,\u201d said Jordan Thomas, assistant alumni director and SAA advisor. \u201cThey felt the need to help children in our area, and I think it\u2019s important for our students to get involved in our community.\u201d<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Toys are still being collected at the Hugh Ellis Walker Alumni-Foundation House.
