Cathy Haynes Conico (at left) of Cleveland, was awarded the First Diploma Saturday morning, as part of Delta State University\u2019s 80th<\/SUP> Fall Commencement. The administrative secretary to the Dean of the College<\/SPAN> of <\/SPAN>Business<\/SPAN> at <\/SPAN>Delta<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>State<\/SPAN>, Conico maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average while working toward a bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration. The First Diploma is presented to the four-year graduating senior with the highest grade point average on a minimum of 112 hours of academic credit at <\/SPAN>Delta<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>State<\/SPAN>.<\/SPAN> <\/P>

Leslie Michelle Griffin (at right) of <\/SPAN>Cleveland<\/SPAN>, graduated with a bachelor\u2019s of business administration degree in finance and was awarded the Second Diploma. The Second Diploma is presented to the two-year graduating senior with the highest grade point average on a minimum of 60 hours of academic credit at <\/SPAN>Delta<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>State<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>University<\/SPAN>. This policy permits a transfer student with at least two years at <\/SPAN>Delta<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>State<\/SPAN> to compete for this honor.<\/SPAN><\/P>

The fall commencement ceremony took place inside Walter Sillers Coliseum on the <\/SPAN>Delta<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>State<\/SPAN> campus, with 390 graduates collecting degrees.<\/SPAN><\/P>
