Delta State Computer Information Systems Instructor Lynn Byrd will lead both workshops which will take place in a relaxed and comfortable environment.<\/p>\n<p>Introduction to Computer for Senior Adults<br \/>Participants age 50 and older will learn the basics about computers. This class will include topics such as word processing, email, Internet surfing, social networking, and other basic computer concepts.&nbsp; Introduction to Computer will meet in Broom Hall, Room 173 on Thursdays, February 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost of the class will be $40. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Introduction to Microsoft Office Applications<br \/>Senior Adult participants will gain an introduction to the features of the programs included in Microsoft Office and learn the basic uses.&nbsp;&nbsp; Topics will include the basics of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. The class takes place on Thursdays, March 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp; Class will be held in Broom Hall, Room 173 and will cost $40.<\/p>\n<p>Each class is limited to 10 participants; early registration is required.
