Hip Hop and Politics, October 10-11 on the Delta State campus.<\/p>\n<p>The 2012 Delta Hip Hop event begins Wednesday, October 10 at 7 p.m. in the BPAC Recital Hall with a screening and discussion of Sut Jully&rsquo;s film, &ldquo;Dreamworlds 3,&rdquo; a look at the exploitation of women in the mass media. Following the film, an amateur beat contest will begin at 9 p.m. in the Green Room of Young-Mauldin cafeteria. Five finalists will be selected from the preliminary round and will compete for a pair of Beats headphones by Dr. Dre. Contestants may sign up for the contest after the film screening.
