In this classroom-based course, healthcare professionals and first responders will learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is designed for certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals and first responders seeking first time certification or re-certification. Don&rsquo;t miss out on the opportunity to learn the key changes in basic life support under the 2010 American Heart Association guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.<\/p>\n<p>Join the Air Evac Lifeteam instructors for this Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional and First Responders course. This course will meet Wednesday, October 10 from 8:30 a.m.-5:00p.m. in the H. L. Nowell Union, Room 302A on the Delta Statee campus. The cost is $20 per person or $15 per person for groups of 5 or more from the same organization.
