\t\t\tThe Bologna Performing Arts Center is \t\t\tpleased to announce that Amy Grant will open our season. The concert \t\t\twill benefit the Delta Music Institute. Amy Grant has won six \t\t\tGrammys, numerous dove awards, a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, \t\t\tand numerous other accolades. She is an American icon who has earned \t\t\tthe respect of fans and peers with her honesty, vulnerability, and \t\t\tceaseless creativity. Her artistry and integrity has placed her at \t\t\tthe forefront of the American music industry. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\t\tThe Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is \t\t\tthe largest professional performing arts organization in the state. \t\t\tThey perform for more than 75,000 Mississippi residents each year at \t\t\tmore than 120 concerts statewide. The orchestra is led by Conductor \t\t\tCrafton Beck and features Jennifer Frautschi on Violin. <\/span> \t\t\t<\/font><\/p>\n

The \t\t\tCenter houses the 1178 seat Delta & Pine Land Theater and the 135 \t\t\tseat Recital Hall. The Bologna Performing Arts Center at Delta State \t\t\tUniversity has earned recognition as one of the premier houses for \t\t\tentertainment and arts in Mississippi and the Southeast. Just \t\t\trecently, the BPAC earned top honors as The Best Performing Arts \t\t\tVenue in Mississippi, as voted on by the readers of Mississippi \t\t\tMagazine. The state-of-the-art facility was built in 1994 through \t\t\tstate funding from the Mississippi legislature, offering a rich \t\t\ttapestry of cultural and educational programs to serve the entire \t\t\tMississippi Delta.
