\t\t\tDelta State \t\t\tUniversity’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host \t\t\tFirst Steps to Starting a Business workshop from 10 a.m. to noon, \t\t\tThursday, July 22, at the Henry M. Seymour Library, 201 Cypress \t\t\tDrive in Indianola.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\t\t <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\t\tChristie Sledge, \t\t\tdirector of the Small Business Development Center at Delta State, \t\t\twill be the featured speaker.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\t\t <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\t\tAre you interested \t\t\tin starting your own business, but dont know where to begin? This \t\t\tseminar outlines the basic steps to start a business. Topics \t\t\tinclude: regulations such as licenses and permits; legal forms of \t\t\tbusiness ownership; basic marketing concepts to help analyze the \t\t\trevenue potential; lending terminology; outline for a business plan \t\t\tand other resources to assist in starting a business.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Registration \t\t\tis required for all workshops.<\/span><\/p>\n

\t\t\tDelta State \t\t\tUniversitys SBDC is a member of the Mississippi Small Business \t\t\tDevelopment Centers (MSBDC) network and is funded in part through a \t\t\tcooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. \t\t\tMSBDC has assisted Mississippi businesses since 1981.  <\/span> \t\t\t<\/font><\/p>\n
