{"id":1894,"date":"2010-03-30T11:38:36","date_gmt":"2010-03-30T11:38:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/2010\/03\/30\/northwest-academy-visits-the-delta\/"},"modified":"2013-09-09T14:08:07","modified_gmt":"2013-09-09T14:08:07","slug":"northwest-academy-visits-the-delta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/2010\/03\/northwest-academy-visits-the-delta\/","title":{"rendered":"Northwest Academy visits the Delta"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"270\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" src=\"\/Images\/univ_relations\/S5030678.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><font size=\"2\">Twenty-five students and four faculty members from the Northwest Academy of Law in St. Louis, Mo., visited Delta State University last week.&nbsp; <\/font><\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">They were hosted by the Delta Center for Culture and Learning at Delta State and participated in a heritage tour encompassing Cleveland, Mound Bayou, Ruleville, Indianola, and Greenwood.&nbsp; <\/span><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Although the group was housed on the campus of Delta State University, they also visited other universities which included the University of Mississippi, the University of Memphis, Mississippi Valley State University and Jackson State University.&nbsp; <\/span><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Northwest Academy of Law is a public high school that emphasizes a pre-law curriculum.
