Delta State University’s College of Business, in partnership with the Center for Community and Economic Development’s AmeriCorps*VISTA Delta Recovery Project, held a two-day credit management workshop entitled “Credit Matters,” on Oct. 8 and 9, in the Baioni Conference Center on the campus. <\/font><\/p>\n

The workshop addressed various issues such as the advantages and disadvantages of using credit, tips for repairing credit and raising your credit score, what bankers look for in making a business loan, foreclosure pitfalls, preparing a budget, and other topics related to credit management. <\/span><\/div>\n

Craig Robinson of Madison was the guest speaker for the workshop. Robinson currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Regional President for the State Bank & Trust Company and has 37 years of banking experience. <\/span><\/div>\n
