Delta State University’s International Student Association will hold a panel discussion entitled "Diversity: Beyond Black and White" on Monday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Jacob Conference Center of Hall Ewing on the campus. <\/font><\/p>\n

Panelists include Dr. Macklyn Hubbell, Doctor of Specialty Counseling, author and guest columnist and Senior Southern Baptist minister;<\/span> Dr. Mike Carr, retired Delta State professor of behavioral sciences;<\/span> Guilherme Russo, International Student Association p<\/span>resident and political science major at Delta State;<\/span> Delta State faculty members, Dr. Paulette Meikle-Yaw, Dr. Debarashmi Mitra, both <\/span>assistant professor’s of community development and sociology;<\/span> and Dr. Stephen King, professor of  communication studies.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Moderator for the panel will be Dr. Albert Nylander, dean, Graduate and Continuing Studies at Delta State.  <\/span><\/div>\n

The purpose of the panel is to enhance diversity awareness in the Delta and on the Delta State campus. <\/span><\/div>\n

The event is free and open to the public. <\/span><\/div>\n
