Johnson, a Delta State University graduate with a <span>Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation<\/span>, from Crystal Springs, were <span>awarded the Second Diploma during <\/span>Delta State University&rsquo;s<span> 82<sup>nd<\/sup> <\/span>Spring <span>Commencement ceremony<\/span> held <span>Saturday, May 9, inside Walter Sillers Coliseum on campus.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p><\/span><span>The Second Diploma is presented to the two-year graduating senior with the highest grade point average on a minimum of 62 hours of academic credit at Delta State University.&nbsp; This policy permits a transfer student with at least two years at Delta State to compete for this honor. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Tracy Elizabeth Peyton (at left), a Delta State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, from Bentonia, and Nicholas P.
