{"id":1142,"date":"2009-03-26T09:54:13","date_gmt":"2009-03-26T09:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/2009\/03\/26\/delta-states-woodwind-ensembles-to-present-annual-concert\/"},"modified":"2013-09-03T12:55:11","modified_gmt":"2013-09-03T12:55:11","slug":"delta-states-woodwind-ensembles-to-present-annual-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/news-and-events\/2009\/03\/delta-states-woodwind-ensembles-to-present-annual-concert\/","title":{"rendered":"Delta State&#8217;s Woodwind Ensembles to present annual concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font size=\"2\">The Delta State University Department of Music will present the Woodwind&nbsp; Ensembles, the Clarinet Quintet, and the Saxophone Quartet in their annual concert on Tuesday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center on the campus.<\/font><\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><span>Under the direction of Dr. Andrea Cheeseman, associate professor of music at Delta State, the ensembles will perform music of Mozart, Joplin, Jacob and Russian inspired folk music.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><span>Members of the Clarinet Quintet include: Katie Brooker of Olive Branch, Lynnzy Higgins of Hazlehurst, Nikki Jobe&nbsp; of Vicksburg, Jacquea Johnson&nbsp; of Charleston, and Tabatha Robertson&nbsp; of Adamsville, Tennessee. <\/span><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><span>Members of the Saxophone Quartet include:&nbsp; Katherine Grant of Tupelo, Steven Hugley of Vicksburg, Brandon Smith of Olive Branch, and Austin White of Vicksburg. <\/span><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><span>This concert is free and open to the public.
