SUMMARY:Air Supply
DESCRIPTION:Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock met on May 12\, 1975\, the first day of rehearsals for “Jesus Christ Superstar” in Sydney\, Australia; they became instant friends with their common love for The Beatles and\, of course\, singing. \nAfter the shows’ performances at 10:30\, they would play pizza parlors\, coffee bars and night clubs with just one guitar and two voices. They quickly gained a reputation for great harmonies and for original songs that Graham was constantly writing. They made a demo on a cassette of two songs\, “Love and Other Bruises” and “If You Knew Me” and took it to every record company in Sydney. Everyone turned it down but one–CBS Records–who admired their unique style. \nThey made a single in one afternoon and it shot to number one on the national charts. Air Supply was born! That same year\, they opened for Rod Stewart across Australia and then throughout the U.S. and Canada playing all of the famous huge venues before Rod would take the stage. They found new fans\, but did not break the U.S. market. \nSeven top-five singles later\, Air Supply at that time had equaled The Beatle’s run of consecutive top five singles. The albums Lost in Love\, The One That You Love\, Now and Forever\, and The Greatest Hits sold in excess of 20 million copies. “Lost in Love” was named Song of the Year in 1980\, and\, with the other singles\, sold more than 10 million copies. \nThe trademark sound of Russell Hitchcock’s soaring tenor voice and Graham Russell’s simple yet majestic songs created a unique sound that would forever be known as Air Supply. \nAir Supply celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2015 and continue to delight audiences all over the world. \nGet tickets today at 662-846-4626 or at bolognapac.com!

SUMMARY:The Commodores
DESCRIPTION:The Commodores aren’t just any group. They have staying power. Just like their hit song\, “Brick House\,” The Commodores have created a foundation that just won’t budge. After churning out hit after hit in the Motown Days\, The Commodores still hadn’t achieved Grammy recognition. This wasn’t to be until 1986\, without Lionel Richie\, when The Commodores released “Night Shift.” \nUnlike many other groups\, The Commodores haven’t rested on their early hits. Quite the contrary\, The Commodores have continued to put out quality work. With the creation of their new label\, The Commodores released Commodores Hits Vol. I\, Commodores Hits Vol. II\, Commodores Christmas\, and Commodores XX-No Tricks. The newest CD\, “Commodores Live” was recorded during the group’s 1997 U.S. tour and released in December 1998 along with the TV special of the same name. \nThe successful Commodores of the present have not only produced six new albums\, and embarked upon a world-wide tour\, but have created their own record label\, Commodores Records and Entertainment. Today The Commodores stand not only as talented and successful musicians\, but as artists determined to continue their success into the future. \nGet tickets today at 662-846-4626 or at https://bolognapac.my.salesforce-sites.com/ticket#/
