SUMMARY:Summer Youth Leadership Initiative
DESCRIPTION:We are eager to announce that the Summer Youth Leadership Initiative will be returning to Delta State University on July 9th -14th. This summer program is an extension of the work of the Delta Proud Youth Initiative at Delta State University\, which aims to improve education for young African American males in the Mississippi Delta. Delta Proud is committed to supporting locally driven\, community level partnerships that work to improve school climate in educational institutions from kindergarten to post-secondary education. Mr. Jamaal Bryant\, President of Delta Proud Fellows\, will serve as the Lead Advisor & Assistant Director for the Delta Proud Summer Youth Leadership Initiative.
