CEU Credit Workshop – Finding Health Information on the Internet

This is a three hour workshop for librarians, school librarians, library staff, teachers, community health workers, community health advocates, and the general public. An additional two hour afternoon session for 0.5 CEU credit will be provided through the Mississippi Library Commission. You must register for both sessions to obtain the 0.5 CEU credit.
During this workshop you will learn criteria for evaluating health information websites, how to find reputable health information online, advanced searching techniques in MedlinePlus and several EBSCOhost consumer health databases through MAGNOLIA, and issues related to providing health information reference services.
