2017 Orientation Leader Interviews

An event every day that begins at 1:00 pm, repeating until November 18, 2016
2017 ORIENTATION LEADER QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS, and APPLICATION
1. Must be a full-time student in Good Academic Standing with the University.
2. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher the semester applying. Failure to meet this requirement will void the application.
3. Must have completed a minimum of 15 hours by the end of the fall semester 2016 and be a returning student in the fall semester of 2017.
4. Must attend a weekend-long Orientation Leader Retreat during the Spring 2016 semester (no exceptions).
5. Must attend S.R.O.W. with the Director of Student Life and OL team, held during Spring Break 2017 weekend.
6. Must attend the Orientation Leader training class once a week during the spring semester. Class time will be set by the Director of Student Life after reviewing Spring 2017 class schedules of those chosen.
7. Must be fully committed to giving your 2017 summer to Orientation; Leaders must attend all summer Orientation sessions (no exceptions), workdays before and during these sessions (approximate dates: May 20, 2017 – July 30, 2017).
8. All applicants must attend a general meeting on Wednesday, November 16th at 5:00 p.m. in H. L. Nowell Union 306. 9. ALL applications must be submitted with two attached recommendation letters; one from a faculty/staff (cannot serve in your academic major) and one from a fellow peer (if Greek, cannot be a member of same Chapter).
ALL applications w/ attached recommendations must be returned to the Office of Student Life, H. L. Nowell Union 200 no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 16th or during the general meeting on the same date.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: 5:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16th (NO EXCEPTIONS)
GENERAL MEETING: ALL APPLICANTS are required to attend a general meeting at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16th in H. L. Nowell Union 306. Failure to attend this meeting without prior notification will void the application.
INTERVIEWS: ALL APPLICANTS must schedule an interview at times listed on an interview sheet by the end of the general session meeting. Interviews will be held Thursday, Nov.17th – Friday, Nov. 18th. Failure to schedule and attend an interview without prior notification will void the application.
