It\u2019s a building over there that was the Grittman Plantation.\u00a0 They moved to Mound Bayou under one of the New Deal Programs.\u00a0 They would provide the family with twenty acres of land and a house, smokehouse, and barn.\u00a0 And I think some kind of livestock.\u00a0 Some assistance and they would have to put the farmland into production and go from there.<\/p>\n
