Content and Scope:<\/em><\/p>\n

Keith Frazier Somerville, born in 1887, was the mother of Keith Dockery McLean.\u00a0 Mrs. Somerville has documented much of her life with a manuscript written to her grand daughter.\u00a0 Her father was Governor of Tennessee.\u00a0 From 1943 until 1945 she wrote a bi-monthly newspaper column in The Bolivar Commercial, Cleveland, Mississippi entitled \u201cDear Boys\u201d which was her way of showing support to the service men from the home front.\u00a0 The collection contains other random papers that speak on a variety of topics and included miscellaneous correspondence and two photos.<\/p>\n
