GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi

GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi, the first sanctioned GRAMMY Museum outside of Los Angeles, is on the campus of Delta State University. The museum opened in March of 2016 and the 20,000 square foot facility showcases Mississippi’s role in shaping American music and features up to date interactive exhibits.

The mission of GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi is to provide unique learning opportunities based on the enduring legacies of all forms of music; the entire creative and technological processes of recording; and the history of the GRAMMY® Awards with a focus on the continuing achievements of Mississippians.

The DMI and its students frequently partner with the museum to provide diverse opportunities and experiential learning.
