Campus Visit Options
Visit the student-centered parts of campus, including the residence halls, on a student-led tour. Tours are approximately 60 minutes in length and provide information on the history of, academics, and student life at Delta State University. An admissions representative will provide a comprehensive review of the application, admission and scholarship process. For the best experience, groups of 5 or less should participate. If multiple prospective students would like to tour together, a tour request form for each student should be submitted and indicate in the notes and special requests section that you would like to tour together.
Admitted students may elect to participate in an academic tour in addition to the tour of campus, residence halls, and student life areas. During an academic tour, admitted students will have the opportunity to meet with a professor in their academic area of interest and tour the academic facilities where most classes will take place. Academic tours must be requested at least 5 days in advance and may accommodate no more than 5 guests. Academic tours are approximately 1.5 – 2 hours in length. Please note that academic tours are not guaranteed during summer months.
Walking tours are designed for groups of 6 or more guests. Groups of 25 or more will be split into smaller groups in order to provide the best experience. The walking tour is approximately 70 minutes in length. To schedule a walking tour, call the Office of Enrollment Services at (662) 846-4020, or e-mail email@example.com.
Planning to visit campus with an elementary or middle school class, church or youth group? Tour guides will hop on your bus to provide a general overview of the main campus and athletic facilities. The bus tour is approximately 45 minutes in length and requires at least a TWO week notice.
Campus tours are available by appointment only. To request a campus tour visit us online at www.deltastate.edu/visit . Each prospective student must register for a campus tour separately. This will ensure accurate contact information and interests for each guest.
