Greek Life at Delta State University has been established to assist the student in the achievement of his/her educational aims. Fraternities and sororities enable a person to broaden intellectually and socially by working with people of diverse backgrounds dedicated to supporting common goals. Each member organization offers many opportunities to develop leadership and responsibility, and to participate in a varied social programs.
During the years of their growth at Delta State, the fraternities and sororities have been involved in many outstanding activities such as community service projects, Homecoming festivities, charity benefits, and other events on the University campus. The groups are governed by three Councils: Interfraternity Council (IFC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and Panhellenic Council (CPH).
