
MS. Draghon McPherson
Draughon McPherson, M.Ed, RD, LD is an adjunct instructor in the Division of Family and Consumer Sciences. Mrs. McPherson has a B.S. degree in Home Economics-Dietetics from Mississippi State University. She completed her Dietetic Internship and Master’s of Science Education degree in Allied Health Sciences at Vanderbilt University. She has continued studies at MSU and DSU. Her work experience as a Registered Dietitian includes the areas of renal, public health, and geriatric nutrition. Mrs. McPherson taught General Biology and Advanced Biology at Indianola Academy for 10 years. She is married with three children and lives in Indianola, MS.
