DR. Katherine Davis

Dr. Davis received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nutrition and Food Systems from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2005.  She is a Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of clinical and administrative experience in dietetics.  She has worked as a clinical dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator with high-risk obstetrical clients at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, served as Director of Nutrition Services for a large home health company, and private contractor with Roche, Matria, and Medtronics, as well as several clinics and hospices. Dr. Davis is currently Chair-Elect of the Council on Education and Research and Board Member of the MS Dietetic Association. Previous professional affiliations and offices include:  President of the Mississippi Association of Diabetes Educators; Board of Directors Member of the American Diabetes Association and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
