MMR vaccine administered throughout the entire school year at no cost to entering students. This vaccine is required of all entering students who did not graduate from a Mississippi High School.

Meningitis vaccine is offered the Month of October, from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a charge of $85.00. This vaccine is encouraged to all freshmen, as freshmen are at a higher risk of contracting this potentially life-threatening disease.

Health Screening The Fall date is Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Hours 6:00 AM-8:30 AM. Each Fall and Spring Semester a Cardiac Risk Panel is offered which includes; Cholesterol level, high and low density cholesterol, total cholesterol, and blood glucose level. During this screening, other tests available include; a PSA (prostate screening for cancer), ALT (a liver function test for those taking a cholesterol lowering medication), TSH (a thyroid function test). All lab tests are offered at a very economical price and are preformed by the Bolivar Medical Center Lab personnel. These are simple blood tests. This health screening is offered to students, faculty, staff and the surrounding communities.
