Funded by the Federal Depository Library Program, GPO Access provides permanent electronic access to important publications of the federal government. Although most of this information may be found in print through depository libraries, the electronic versions are considered complete and official versions from the U.S. Government Printing Office.
Branches of Government
- Legislative Resources - Find bills, laws, the U.S. Code, legislative calendars, hearings, Congressional Documents, Congressional Reports, and Serial Set items.
- Executive Resources - Find rules and regulations, the U.S. budget, Public Papers, the U.S. Government Manual, the Economic Report of the President, special reports and investigations, and other agency materials.
- Judicial Resources - Find information on the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Appellate courts. Additionally, find other federal documentation relating to the judiciary such as the Code of Federal Regulations, the U.S. Constitution, and Congressional committees.

Code of Federal Regulations - Contains the codification of rules and regulations set by federal agencies and published in the Federal Register. Visit http://www.gpoaccess.gov/cfr/about.html for more information about the CFR.

Congressional Record (1994-Present) - Published daily, the Congressional Record is the official record of the proceedings and debates of the United States Congress.

Federal Register (1994-Present) - Published daily, the Federal Register provides Rules, Proposed Rules, and Notices of Federal agencies and organizations. Executive Orders and other Presidential Documents may be located in the Federal Register as well.

Public and Private Laws (104th Congress - 107th Congress) - Individual laws published by Congress. Search for a law by Congress or by keyword (subject).

U.S. Code - Contains the general and permanent laws of the United States.

U.S. Government Manual - Directory to federal government agencies, with an overview of the mission and responsibilities of each agency. Names of key administrators, addresses and phone numbers for the main and branch offices are also included.
