Vaccination Information

MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccinations are available at the DSU Student Health Center, Physician's offices, and at County Health Departments.

MMR's are available at no charge at the DSU Student Health Center, Monday-Thursday, 9 AM-5 PM.  Mississippi law requires students that did not graduate from a Mississippi High School, and entering a 4 year public universities to provide proof of 2 MMR shots.

Other vaccinations available at Student Health Services are:

• Influenza Vaccination (available November & December) to Students, Staff, and Community; the cost is comparable to the County Health Department.

• Meningitis Vaccination  Available during the MONTH OF OCTOBER 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This vaccine will be given at the O. W. Reily Student Health Center.  The Cost is $85.00.  This vaccine should last 8-10 years.  The vaccine in the past lasted only 3-5 years.  Please reserve this vaccination through the last week of SEPTEMBER by calling 662-846-4630 or emailing  bblack@deltaste.edu   Recipients may charge this vaccination cost to their student account (must present valid ID, must have account in good standing) or may pay with cash, check or OKRA card.
