Office of Field Experiences

The Office of Field Experiences has the responsibility of providing placement for all students, graduate or undergraduate, who have been assigned to complete field experiences in a cooperating school. These activities include student teaching, practicums, internships, clinical procedures, and other experiences related to job preparation and on-the-job training. The office maintains the academic records of students who, during their junior year, apply to the Teacher Education Program. Students who successfully complete the Program must meet academic criteria for admission, student teach in classrooms of cooperating schools, complete degree requirements, and fulfill requirements for state licensure in the state of Mississippi.
