A Registered Dietitian (RD) is nationally recognized as an expert in the field of food and nutrition
 
To become a Registered Dietitian, you are required to meet eligibility requirements established by The American Dietetic Association (ADA)

  • Commercial business and industry, school feeding,  community and public health programs
  • Wellness centers, day-care centers, or are self-employed   in private practice
Program Requirements
Admission to the university does not assure admission to the coordinated program. Separate application to the coordinated program is necessary. It will be necessary for each student to have reliable transportation since most supervised practice sites will be within a 65-mile radius of Cleveland. A physical examination and proof of healthcare insurance are required prior to admission.
