ABOUT THE DIVISION

The mission of the Division is to provide professional education in Family and Consumer Sciences, to provide complementary educational experiences for other disciplines, and to improve individual's opportunity for developing competencies that enhance the quality of life.

What is Family & Consumer Sciences?

• The study of interactions of individuals with their environment and with each other,

• The primary objective is to improve the quality of life,

• The focus is the family.

   

   

The Division of Family & Consumer Sciences grants a Bachelor of Science Degree with concentrations in Child Development, Fashion Merchandising and Nutrition/Dietetics.
