Lifetime Donor Societies
Through these Societies, the University honors the leadership and extraordinary support of alumni, friends, faculty and staff. The Lifetime Donor Societies provide the means to recognize the University’s most generous supporters for their cumulative giving since 1994.
Platinum $1,000,000 or more
Gold $500,000 to $999,999
Silver $250,000 to $499,999
Bronze $100,000 to $249,999
The Delta State Fund Giving Clubs
The Delta State Fund's Giving Clubs recognize annual donors who have distinguished themselves in support of the University. In recognition of the importance of annual contributions, the University established special membership levels to honor annual contributors. Alumni, parents and friends join The Delta State Fund Giving Clubs by making an annual gift to The Delta State Fund and in doing so they help to build a stronger Delta State University.
Membership in the following clubs is based on annual contributions:
President's Club….…$10,000 or more Named in honor of the presidents of Delta State who have served since the University's founding in 1924: James W. Broom, William M. Kethley, James M. Ewing, Aubrey K. Lucas, Kent Wyatt, David Potter, and John M. Hilpert.
Statesmen’s Circle…$5,000 to $9,999 Named in honor of the official mascot of Delta State. The "Statesman" was officially adopted in 1975.
Founders’ Club………$2,500 to $4,999 Named for the men and women who founded Delta State Teachers College (DSTC). The first planning meeting was held in September 1922, when Mr. J. C. Roberts credited the idea of a Teachers College in Cleveland to Mr. A. K. Eckles, then Bolivar County Superintendent of Education.
Deans’ Circle………..$1,000 to $2,499 Named in honor of all former Deans of the University, beginning with Dean William H. Zeigel, the first academic dean of DSTC.
University Associate …...$500 to $999 Named in honor of all former faculty and staff who have served the University for the past 76 years and who have seen the oak trees on the Quadrangle grow from small saplings to mighty giants.
Partner…….............…….$250 to $499 Named in honor of alumni and friends who "partner" with Delta State's Alumni-Foundation Office to raise private funds for the support of the University's students, faculty, and staff.
Heritage Club……………..$100 to $249 Named in recognition of the University's academic, political, economic, and social contributions to the Delta, the state of Mississippi, and to the nation.
Young Alumni Club…………...$1 to $99 Reserved for those who attended within the past 10 years.
