The Student Success Center connects and actively partners with campus and community constituencies to maximize efforts to provide multi-faceted support to foster personal and educational development to ensure academic success. Constituencies include the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business, College of Education, Robert E. Smith School of Nursing, Counseling and Testing Center, the Writing Center, Career Services, Student Life, Financial Aid, Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate and Continuing Studies, Housing and Residence Life, Registrar’s Office, Institutional Research, Athletics, Alumni Association, Faculty Senate, Staff Council, Academic Council, Student Business Services and the Cleveland/Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce. Pilot Program: Student Success Coaches (Target Start Date: Fall 2012) The students enrolled in the CED 098/099 classes are registered in two or more of the developmental classes and exhibit risk factors that can lead to academic withdrawal. Students who are considered at-risk include, but are not limited to: first generation college students, low socio-economic students, students who were enrolled in the Summer Developmental program and students on academic probation. Goals of the Student Success Coaches are:
