Philosophy
(Dr. Clint Tibbs, supervisor):

  • Builds students’ capacity to tackle problems posed in the areas of faith, science, ethics, and consciousness;
  • Prepares students in the discerning, critical, and open reading of philosophy texts;
  • Provides students an in-depth and critical understanding of philosophy;
  • Prepares students to continue their studies on a doctoral level;
  • Provides students the option of pursuing an 18-hour concentration in philosophy;
  • Engages students in current research and scholarship on philosophy.
